Your care begins with a comprehensive initial consultation, where we review your health history, current symptoms, and clinical goals in detail. This is followed, when appropriate, by a targeted physical examination to help further assess relevant body systems and guide clinical decision-making.
From there, care is individualized and may include evidence-informed supplementation when indicated, functional laboratory testing to investigate underlying contributors to symptoms, and personalized nutrition and lifestyle recommendations that are practical and sustainable. Acupuncture, including facial acupuncture, may also be incorporated when clinically appropriate as part of a broader treatment plan.
Where appropriate, care may include education regarding conventional medical assessment and treatment pathways, as well as collaboration or referral to other regulated healthcare providers. This ensures that your care remains coordinated and aligned with the appropriate standard of medical oversight for your presenting concerns.
Licensed Naturopathic Doctors in Ontario are covered under most private insurance plans. Laboratory testing may also be covered under some extended health benefits; however, it is not covered by OHIP.
